Branch Criteria
To be eligible, a group must:

Be a community based not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization engaged in tree planting and care along with stewardship education, with a mission statement outlining goals.

Retain 501(c)(3) nonprofit status during iTreeBank affiliation.

Directly engage community volunteers in the planting, care, and stewardship of community forests.

Be in existence at least one year.

Have a phone number and mailing address that can be made available to the public.
Branch Benefits

Members may place the iTreeBank logo and link on their website.

Membership includes e-commerce for iTreeBank branches.

Membership includes national cooperative marketing and global outreach through iTreeBank branches, the Alliance for Community Trees and TreeLink.

From time to time, iTreeBank may receive funds that are passed on through special programs exclusively for iTreeBank branches.

Members are invited to participate in online forums and publications.

Members receive WoodNotes Quarterly e-zine and TreeLink News (optional), e-mailed directly to designated individuals on their board, staff, or membership list.

Members may use the iTreeBank logo on printed materials and press releases.
Branch Responsibilities

Maintain and update (if necessary) website quarterly.

Use the iTreeBank logo and link on the front page of its website.

Use funds for tree planting and care along with educational programs.

Keep iTreeBank apprised of changes to its mailing address, phone number, email and website addresses.

Respond in a timely manner to requests for information from iTreeBank.

Operate in a spirit of cooperation with other iTreeBank branch members, offering advice and assistance to the extent possible.

Submit a brief annual report of their activities and accomplishments.

Please note: TreeLink, the organization that sponsors iTreeBank, is not itself a membership organization. Membership in the iTreeBank, therefore, does not constitute membership in TreeLink.
